Narciso Rodriguez Perfume

In fashion circles, the New York-born designer of Cuban descent, born in 1961, has been known for some time. After working for Calvin Klein's Donna Karan, he went on to run his own business without any success for a couple of years.

For his first serious fame, Narciso Rodriguez finally earned it in 1996, with his Caolyn Bessette-Kennedy wedding dress. After he won the Perry Ellis Young Designer Award two years later, the fashion company, which until then had been based in Madrid, moved to New York.

Rodriguez made his mark on the perfume market in 2003, when he released For Her fragrance in collaboration with Japanese cosmetics manufacturer Shiseido. This was followed by the release of its counterpart For Him in 2007. In this case, the duo Francis Kurkdijan and Christine Nagel collaborated.

Since For Her was seemingly a huge success, a limited edition of the line was released in 2014. In 2009, a line of women's Essence perfumes appeared. What's more, a separate and limited edition Musc Collection, including both Essence, For Her and For Him, was worn in each case since 2009.

In addition, in 2015 he launched the independent Narciso line. Musc is generally at the center of his entire collection. In the fashion world, as well as the fragrance market, his designs are said to be seen as classic, modern and elegant.
