Jaguar Perfume

In 1988, the company released its first fragrance, Jaguar for men. Offering an enticing blend of more than 15 fragrance notes including mandarin, jasmine, cinnamon, tobacco and vanilla, the fragrance is still used today by sophisticated men who appreciate its bold, multi-faceted bouquet.

The company released Miss Jaguar in 1993, a floral fragrance that is renowned for its light, aquatic combination of fragrance notes. Other notable Jaguar fragrance offerings include the 1998 floral women's fragrance Essentially Jaguar and the 2002 citrusy, spicy men's fragrance Jaguar.  The Jaguar brand offers more than 20 men's and women's fragrances.

History of the Jaguar perfume brand

The name Jaguar most likely brings to mind sleek, luxury cars. However, the ever-growing company that produces beautiful cars is also a significant brand in the equally competitive realm of fragrances for men and women.

Founded by Sir William Lyons in 1922 as a manufacturer of motorbike sidecars, the company's original name was 'Swallow Sidecar Company'. After the Second World War, the company streamlined its operations in the luxury car arena, merged with the British Motor Corporation and eventually changed its name to Jaguar Cars. In 1984 the company was listed on the London Stock Exchange until it was taken over by Ford Motor in 1989.
